Junior year is a stressful year for many Independence students. It’s stressful because of the senior exit that is required to graduate.
The research paper is a big part of the senior exit. It is a 6-8 page essay that can be very time consuming. The biggest tip as a junior at Independence High School is to not procrastinate. Procrastinating on the research paper will be a burden while having homework and projects due for other classes.
Another tip is to organize and plan on what and when to work on the research paper. Organize what each paragraph should consist of and if it is factual and informing. Plan availability to work on the paper and manage time wisely to get it done efficiently.
“If you got time to do it, do it cuz,” says Danny, a senior at Independence High School. Danny
procrastinated and did his research paper last minute. Even though he got a passing grade, it was very stressful trying to get it done.
