Independence – Charlotte, N.C.

Mr. Stine, a science teacher here at Independence High School, is doing a study of Natural Science for the first time this year.

The goal of the biodiversity study is to learn about all the species of plants in animals. In order to do so Mr. Stine will take a group of students to a property in the woods to study the living organisms there.

“The Indy Biodiversity Project is the only one of its kind that I know of at the high school level,” said Mr. Stine during his interview.

There will be an information meeting on March 3, 2016 at 2:15 p.m. See Mr. Stine in room 206 for more information and applications.
