The most talked about song this week is “Work” by Rihanna featuring Drake. This song recently dropped and has taken the world by storm. With a nice reggae vibe, it makes listeners want to dance.

“Work” was dropped days before Rihanna’s new album called Anti. The song is similar to Caribbean music, which is of Rihanna’s culture. Rihanna made her fans wait three years for her to drop a new album. No matter the wait, fans say the album was overall worth it, especially with the song “Work.”

“It’s lit, it makes me wanna dance as soon as it comes on,” says Austin, an upperclassman at Independence High School. Throughout the song, Rihanna sings in her Caribbean accent that most people aren’t familiar with or could depict. Besides Rihanna, Austin likes the song even more because “Drake is in it and the beat is real.”

Even though listeners don’t necessarily know what Rihanna is saying, “It’s very catchy,” says Danny, a senior at Independence High School. The song is similar to Drake’s “Hotline Bling” with the repetition of words and beat, with a catchy phrase. People praise it just like they praise “Work.”

Rihanna is praised either way because of her fashion sense and flawlessness. Her fans love how she work work work work work works.
