Independence High School’s Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) club hosted a blood drive for the American Red Cross on Wednesday September 8th. HOSA set a goal to collect 99 pints of blood, which was accomplished, and had a total of 99 students participate in the blood drive. The blood drive at Independence was also successful in recruiting new donors as an astounding 65 students were first time donors.

The next blood drive will be on December 11th and HOSA would like to see even more donors.

Great work Patriots!
